John Mariani Architecture is a practice dedicated to crafting good buildings. Our approach to design is to find the right solution among the needs of the client, the site, and the unique characteristics of each project. Since 1995, we have created a good share of commercial, residential, and recreational buildings, additions, and remodels.
John was educated at McDonogh School (1980), Catholic University in DC (Bachelor of Architecture 1985), and Columbia University in NY (Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design 1992). He learned how to be an architect at Hord Coplan Macht Architects (Baltimore), Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates (New York) and Ehrenkrantz Eckstut Architects (New York). He is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and is LEED certified.
